A McCall’s 6479a Quick & Easy Girls Nightgown and Pajamas with Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy Iron-On Color Transfers Vintage Sewing Pattern in Size Small (4 – 6), Breast 23 – 25 inches.

The pattern is partially cut and all the pieces are there.  The Raggedy Ann/Andy transfers are uncut.  The instructions are there.  The envelope is in very good vintage condition with tannin, foxing, wear, and tears.  The envelope flap is still attached but the lower portion has been cut off for inventory control.  Copyright 1979 and 1976.

Piece 1 Front was cut across at the Shorten/Lengthen line to make a bodice piece, the rest of Piece 1 is there and unaltered.  The original seamstress lowered the neckline (you can follow the stitching line and put it back to the original) and lowered the bottom of the armhole (you can sort of see where the original cutting line was).  There are ink notes and lines.

Piece 2 Back is the same as Piece 1. Piece 6 (Sleeve) has ink notes.

After all this time there is no guarantee that the color iron-on transfer will work 100%.

Short story: front and back necklines will need to be returned to original lines and you have the stitching lines to follow; front and back armholes will need to be returned to original lines and will be a bit trickier.

All patterns are vintage items and sold...AS IS.  Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously.  I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by.  If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME!  I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.

Pattern comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and is shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert.  The zip bag is great for storing the pattern!

Please note that I count the pattern pieces unless factory folded, assess the pattern's condition, and press the pattern as necessary.  You will never purchase a pattern from me with 'It looks like it's all there' or 'Pieces need pressing'.
