Made in England by Mayflower Glass, makers of Artistic Glassware, in bottles and glass domes. 
This art glass sculpture depicts the Wright Flyer which was the first successful heavier-than-air powered aircraft. 
It was designed and built by the Wright brothers. 
They flew it four times on December 17, 1903, near Kill Devil Hills, about four miles south of Kitty Hawk, NC. 
The glass dome seated, on a wood display base, measures 4” in diameter. 
The plane’s wingspan measures 2 ¼” in length. 
Excellent condition, as pictured, displaying the Made in Britain decal.
