This royal blue pullover, long sleeved top is a rough cut textured fleece on the outside, smooth fleece on the inside and was made by "GEAR for Sports" for the US OPEN 2000 Tennis tournaments. The top was purchased at the US Open in 2000, and is gently worn with no rips, tears, discolorations, etc. Shows some pilling as this type of fabric often does. The US OPEN 2000 tennis logo is embroidered on the front in red/white/gold. It is an adult size S (see measurements). 100% polyester, care instructions are on sewn in tag. 2 side slits at bottom are for ease of movement. These types of fleece tops currently sell for $48.00 and higher, making this one a real bargain. Stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.

About the 2000 US Open in Tennis:
The 2000 US Open was held between August 28 – September 10, 2000. It was the final Grand Slam event of 2000. Both Andre Agassi and Serena Williams were unsuccessful in their title defences; Agassi being upset in the second round by Arnaud Clément and Williams losing in the quarter-finals to Lindsay Davenport. Marat Safin won his first US Open title and first of two Grand Slams, defeating Pete Sampras in the final, and Venus Williams defeated Davenport to win the women's title.
