This is a "detailed and biographical genealogy of Victor and Alice Jensen and their family. Victor's paternal grandparents, Jens and Johanne Jensen were born in Denmark in 1829 and 1830, respectively. They were baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1854 and left Copenhagen with a company of 500 saints in 1857. Traveling, by way of Liverpool on the "Westmoreland, " they arrived in Philadelphia and immediately by rail for Iowa City.
