The newspaper has been kept in perfect condition for the past 18+ years. It has been stored flat in a dry, smoke-free, pet-free home. Never opened. No wrinkles or folds.
This edition of the Waterton-Glacier Guide was published at the tail end of the 2003 summer season, a historically bad year for fires. There are articles here that relate stories from that summer's Trapper Fire, Roberts Fire, and others.
