Great estate sale find! We believe it’s a hummingbird taking nectar from a flower. Bird themes are prevalent in S. C. Edaakie’s work. As a member of the Zuni Nation, he is skilled at inlay work. This pin or pendant is one such example.

Edaakie worked almost exclusively with sterling silver but it appears most were not marked. We are not assuming it is sterling silver but the signature is unmistakably his.
