Tone City T32-Model M II
Marshall style high gain distortion, with boost. Tone City have found their place producing incredible pedals at a cost most people though impossible. Well they are here to impress again with the Model M II a classic rock overdrive pedal that emulates one of the worlds most popular amps. Even though Tone City won’t say what they modeled this pedal after I think between the name and the gold/black design we can take a guess at a Marshall style amplifier.
Crunch or High Gain Because these classic British amplifiers covered generations of different tones the Model M has tried to model both their crunch and high gain tones.
In crunch mode you get all of the classic rock tones that can be found on countless blues and rock records throughout the years.
In high gain mode you get a more modern JCM like tone that has a powerful midrange and as the name suggests a lot more gain.
The New Model M II is identical as the first version but now they have tamed the squeal the old version had sometimes depending on gain structures. Finally it is here it is quieter and as always it captures Marshall tones BANG ON amazingly.
