Howard B. Famous (one of several pseudonyms of Samuel Edward Lowe) was a published author of children's books and young adult books, including six "Animal Stories" series [Rover, Hazel Squirrel, Happy Bunny, Baby Pony, Bobby Bear & Tommy Turtle], as well as the "Bedtime Stories" series.

Under his own name, he is best known for the book "In The Court Of King Arthur".
