Offered here is this Beautiful Vintage Hand-Carved Figural Statue. It is in very good condition, with little sign of wear at all, but it is a little bit dusty and will need a light cleaning. It does have a split in the wood that runs from the thigh of the woman to her neck, but it does not go all the way through the wood. I am unsure of its age. It seems to be carved from a single piece of wood and has amazing detail. It is from India, and I believe that it may have some religious significance. I do not know the type of wood that it is carved from. The piece is felted on the bottom. The piece is 7.5” tall and is 1.75” by 2” in diameter. It is a beautiful hand carved piece of art that would be a nice addition to an Indian art collection.
