Instructions:
Begin by applying a brushing aid to the animal's coat. This will help break the static lock of any mats, making it easier for the brush to pass through the hair without damaging the coat.
Start brushing at the rear of the animal, to allow the pet to become accustomed to being brushed before working toward the head. The unique triangle shape of this brush is ideal for grooming under the legs and around the ears. Lift the hair upwards with your free hand and brush the hair down, in the direction of the hair growth. Keep your wrist straight to prevent the pins of the brush from scraping the animal's skin.
To remove mats, place free hand beneath mat and brush repeatedly until mat is gone.
