Item description for VINTAGE UNIQUE HANDCARVED WOODEN BOOK ENDS OX BUFFALO

Gorgeous handcarving. Looks to me like an African Art, but I am not sure.

It is a very light wood. Bootm of the book end is not polished.

One more interesting detail - right above the ox sculpture there is an indentation in a wood for a thumb. I guess so when moved hand is not sliding off.

Measures about 4" high.

On a picture they came out much lighter color then they are.
