Vintage TT Takito Japan Teapot Hand Painted Floral Crackle Glaze Wood Handle

This lovely old teapot is in GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION ~ A couple of small surface flea bites ~ One on top rim of pot, and the other on edge of rim. Very insignificant. Possibly some minor fading to painted areas, but still looks great overall.

Marked on the bottom with the double diamonds with a T in each diamond, "Handpainted, Made in Japan" in red.

This mark is one of the standard mark of the Japanese company called The Takito Company (1880-1948). So at the very least this pice was made prior to 1948. Though per research I believe it to be an older piece from the period known as the Taisho period from about 1913-1930.

Measures approx. 4 3/4" tall including lid x 7 1/8" from tip of sp[out to back of handle.
