Vintage Mexican Tlaquepaque, Jalisco Touristware Primitive Folk Art Clay Pottery Oval Fluted Edge Dish Bowl

Estimated to Have Been Made Circa 1940s.

 Bears a Faint, Hard to Read, Impressed "MEXICO" Mark on the Back.

Features a Hand Painted Desert Nature Scene of Maguey Cactus and Saguaro Cactus, and Green Grass. Edge is Fluted, with Blue Accents

GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION ~ No nicks, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. Typical glaze chipping and other typical glaze imperfections, as well as some age related discolorations/staining/crazing, considered normal for this age and type of rustic pottery. It is actually these sort of flaws that lends a certain charm and authenticity to this old Mexican pottery.
