MacNeice was a highly lauded poet from the Auden Group, a playwright, a prolific script writer for the BBC, and
was awarded the CBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).

In nice collectible condition.

Fine in tan and deep-blue woven linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine, black end-papers; in a nearly fine dust jacket with a small faint soil-smudge to the lower front panel, and with a hint of age-toning to the spine panel; original printed £4.25 net price still intact to the front inner flap.
