US double-weight glossy photograph from the 1950s infidelity-themed drama, THE SEVENTH SIN, released in 195y by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Ronald Neame and an uncredited Vincente Minnelli. Based on W. Somerset Maugham's novel, "The Painted Veil," in post-WWII Hong Kong, unhappily married Carol has an affair with a married man. Her husband discovers it and presents her with a choice: travel with him to a remote mainland village or face the scandal of a very public divorce.

The image depicts an interior medium shot of married Carolyn Carwin (Eleanor Parker) with her lover, Paul Duval (Jean-Pierre Aumont), both in elegant and contrasting evening attire. The verso features a printed caption in purple ink and an "APPROVED" stamp from the Advertising Code Administration of Hollywood, it is in very fine- condition as shown.
