This is an interesting vintage book that was a favorite of my mother-in-law. It is a collection of poetry. At the bottom of the cover it says "Twill warm the cockles o' your heart".  My mother -in-law got it in 1945.

This is a scrap book with work from many different authors. On the inside of the cover it says "A little book holding many flowers culled from other gardens than my own - more beautiful than I could ever grow"

Regarding copyright - there is also a page that states "Every effort has been made to give due credit to authors for the use of their work. A throrough search has been made in the libraries to ascertain the holding of copyrights. Permission was then sought and in most cases granted. In other  instances special arrangements were made with the authors or publishers. So much generosity was exhibited by the friendly poets, that one would feel chargined to discover he had  used, without full credit another's work.
