Heinrich porcelain in conjunction with Villeroy & Boch produced Unicef - Children plates beginning in the late 1970's through the mid 1990's. I understand there were two series of children's plates made. The first series of plates were called "Children of the World" and the second series was called "Our Children". Each series had 12 plates in it. These plates were made and sold to benefit the United Nations Children's Fund. This particular plate is the Child of the United States of America U.S.A. Children of the World plate. It is the 9th plate in the series. It was designed by Karen Blume. Her signature is on the front of the plate. The diameter is 7 3/4". The condition is excellent. Has hanger attached to back. Take a close look at the photos. I encourage you to zoom in. Thanks for viewing this item! Please be assured of an excellent swift transaction. All items from a smoke free and super clean home. I post worldwide. Thank you :) If a listing denotes "free shipping," the free shipping is for the Continental USA only. Arizona residents must pay an 8.3% state and county tax. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
