Important: Do NOT measure the cord with a caliper to determine the size.

To select the size of cord you need, wrap your current unfrayed cord around anything round (like a pencil) 10 times (please see photo #2) and measure the width of those 10 strands and then match it with the list below:

1.2 mm: When wrapped 10 times, the approximate width is 1/2".

1.4 mm: When wrapped 10 times, the approximate width is 9/16".

1.8 mm: When wrapped 10 times, the approximate width is 11/16".

2.0 mm: When wrapped 10 times, the approximate width is 3/4".

2.2 mm: When wrapped 10 times, the approximate width is 7/8".

If the cord size is labeled in the photo, please note, it’s very difficult to represent the actual life size of an object in photographs.
