Description: A beautiful round-shaped enamel on copper box made in England by Bilston and Battersea Enamels. This box has a hinged lid that is nicely decorated with a colored transfer showing a bouquet of red roses held together with a blue ribbon. The side of the box as well as the bottom are also enameled and colored in red. The box has inwards curved rising sides and a flat round base. The inside of the box is also enameled and has a white coloring with the back of the lid having the words "A bouquet with Love" written in beautiful decorative calligraphy. The bottom of the inside is not decorated. Both top and bottom are fitted with brass rings having a hinge on the back and a thumb piece on the front top portion. The bottom of the box is red and has the maker's mark of Bilston and Battersea Enamels consisting of an oval with the letters "BB" in the center surrounded by the words "BILSTON AND BATTERSEA ENAMELS.Made in England." and has a small round paper label with the letter "A" in its center surrounded by a scalloped line having arrow heads pointing at the letter. The brass ends of both the top and bottom are clean, shiny, and add immensely to the beauty of this box. Size: The enameled box is ~1 5/8" diameter at the base and is ~1 1/8" high to the top of the lid. This small box weighs about 1.5 ounces.

Condition: The box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. The box is clean and the lid closes well.
