"The Dutch Cottage" - This is an enlargement of my third Thorne Room etching in conjunction with The Art Institute of Chicago, in the style of Rembrandt, I did back in 1982 and marketed by Reminiscence, Inc. worldwide . There were seven of these that I did, all taken from little miniature works of art that I selected when I was there, or that Commander Gearhart (my brilliant manager) selected. The work you are now looking at is an enlargement of 1.25" x 1.5" copperplate etching, which had a limitation of 250. The Giclee print I have for sale taken from this image measures 8-1/2 x 11 inches on the outside measurement, the image is smaller.

About my printed Giclee prints.  By John Anthony Miller, artist.

These are enlarged prints which are printed from my miniature etchings and engravings, mainly from the 1980s when I had my work marketed world-wide for the miniature market by Reminiscence, Inc. The original copperplate intaglios ranged in size from 1 inch to 5 inches in their largest dimensions. As you can see the detail is here, even when enlarged. Most if not all of these have been sold out in their limited edition form. In this incarnation, these are 8-1/2 by 11 inches paper size, printed one at time using a Giclee printer with archival pigment inks and acid-free heavy card-like stock. Ready to frame, just buy a frame standard size and put it in.They all are signed and titled by myself in pencil.
