* Large, glossy red fruit with juicy, white flesh and freestone.

* Very productive, Self-fertile although more productive with another variety to cross-pollinate.
* Requires 700-800 chilling hours, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom.
* Cold hardy to USDA hardiness zones 5-8. It requires very cold winter-season followed by warm weather for proper development of buds.
* White or pinkish-white flowers appear in early spring which develop subsequently into attractive fruits by June.
* For best fruit production, provide moist but well drained soil. When planting, space 20' apart. Fertilize in spring just before new growth begins.
* Plant in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
