Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1960's euthanasia-themed drama, THE BRAMBLE BUSH, released in 1960 by Warner Bros. and directed by Daniel Petrie. A handsome and successful young doctor returns to his home town in New England to see his dying friend for one last time. However, his friend wants to die because he is suffering so much from his illness, and he manages to convince the doctor to commit euthanasia (a mercy killing) on him. Haunted by what he has done, and troubled further still by other dark secrets from his past, the doctor seeks comfort in the arms of several of the town's lustful women. This leads to even more complications in his life...
The design is similar to a strip of film and features a vertical collage of the main characters including Richard Burton, Barbara Rush, Jack Carson, and Angie Dickinson, all rendered in black-and-white illustrations. It is in fine+ condition with a light 2.5 in. horizontal crease beneath the top left corner; a tiny crease on the top right corner; and a few small creases simply from handling over time. This is a very unique design for a movie photograph.
