This is a wonderfully artsy handwoven traditional Guatemalan shirt or shirt jacket top, from vintage artisan label Mayan Modern.
Marked a size M. Possibly smaller - please check measurements given.
100% cotton.
Handwoven fabric in red and black.
Embroidery (or woven-in?) designs are in white, turquoise, yellow, blue, orange, pink and brown.
Band collar in a woven geometric pattern,
Bone buttons down the front.
Nice longer tunic length.
Patch pockets at bottom front have embroidered folk people in native costumes.
Side slits.
Long sleeves with more embroidered folk people.
Cuffs, have embroidered or woven geometric design.
Back yoke with gathers below.
Two large embroidered folk people on back with 3-D belts and braids.
Necklace NOT included.
In wonderful vintage condtion - no signs of having been worn. Remarkably pristine.
