Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy candid photograph taken during the hard-fought PACIFIC SOUTHWEST TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP c.1934. Taken by RKO Radio Pictures, the image depicts a close candid shot of one of their stars, Dorothy Lee, enjoying the tennis match with her husband, University of Southern California (USC) grid star turned actor/assistant director Marshall Duffield. Upside-down on the verso is the original RKO studios rubber stamp which is partially covered by the original paper snipe that describes the image.

It is in near-fine condition with an area of light wrinkling along the bottom that corresponds with the size of the snipe; several creases of varying sizes on the bottom right corner and in the center of the top border; and light signs of wear on the top right corner.
