Up for your consideration consists of a Chinex or Cremax 8 oz teacup in a pattern called Petalware. This lovely piece is topped off with a magnificent ring of 22k gold around the rim. Cremax is a light beige with opalescent highlights in it. What a beautiful pattern to collect. Mac Beth-Evans Glass Company made this pattern between 1930 and 1940. They were located in Charleroi, Pennsylvania and started production in 1899. The company made very fine glassware with beautiful designs. Most pieces were thinner than most glassware made during that time period with gorgeous opalescent glass. MacBeth-Evans made hand blown glass.
