Vintage original 7 x 7 x 2 in. cardboard gift box in connection with the 40th Anniversary of the Sage Automotive Group. These boxes and the enclosed gifts were given to customers of the family of car dealerships to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. The back (or bottom) of the box features a photographic image of the beloved Los Angeles radio host and celebrity, BIG BOY (Kurt Alexander) of Power 106 FM. This box features an original signature by Big Boy in black Sharpie ("Still crazy - Big - Boy"). It is in overall very fine- condition with some discoloration on the bottom and around the edges.
Silent Cinema Inc. (the seller here) guarantees the authenticity of Big Boy's signature. We were given this box from a Lexus dealership on Van Nuys Blvd. at the time we purchased a vehicle from them.
Big Boy (born Kurt Alexander; September 8, 1969) is a nationally syndicated American radio host and actor. From 1997, he has hosted the morning show at Los Angeles Rhythmic contemporary station KPWR (Power 106) until his move in February 2015 to KRRL (Real 92.3). His stage name derives from his formerly large build, which he modified through duodenal switch surgery in 2003, leading to a nearly fatal weight loss of over 250 pounds.
