A high-quality book production with commentary and a short history followed by one-hundred-thirty-six captioned, brilliant color plates of cartoon art, and a finale of a collage portraying the characters and the two artists in an old car, on a see-through sepia art plate to the rear.

Quite an elusive limited double SIGNED hardcover.

Very slightly warped (book lightly curved at its center) else near fine in black cloth over polished smoke-black linen with silver embossed titles and Barney face to the front cover and with silver embossed titles, that show one tiny fleck, to the spine, black-and-white headband and tail-band, silver-toned end-papers; in a sturdy near fine slipcase that mirrors the book cover production, with a very short cloth-line flaw to the rear panel, a very small grayish smudge to the front panel, and tiny specks of occasional spotting.

The book weighs two pounds and five ounces.
