Vintage 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic 1940's horror comedy, ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN, released in 1948 by Universal-International and directed by Charles Barton. Larry Talbot/the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.) tries to warn a dimwitted porter (Lou Costello) that Dracula (Bela Lugosi) wants his brain for Frankenstein monster's (Glenn Strange) body. The cast includes Bud Abbott, Glenn Strange, Lenore Aubert, Jane Randolph, Frank Ferguson, and Charles Bradstreet.
The image features a great candid shot taken during a break in filming and depicts Bela Lugosi, in full costume and make-up as Dracula, seated in his chair holding a cigar as he enjoys a laugh with case member Glenn Strange, seen in full Frankenstein's Monster make-up, as a crew member watches them while two others work in the background. It is in fine+ condition with two very small creases in the background area near the top right corner and three small creases of varying sizes on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
