Vintage original UNIVERSAL STUDIOS MONSTERS "THE FRANKENSTEIN CLASSIC [PEWTER] GOBLET." Produced by the Franklin Mint (TFM) as their Exclusive 1991 Limited Edition piece in conjunction with Universal Studios, the goblet was crafted by TFM in 1991 and limited to 45 casting days to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the classic 1931 Universal Studios’ horror film with featuring Boris Karloff. The goblet production was granted by the estate of Boris Karloff and fully licensed by Karloff Enterprises through Universal Studios.

The pewter goblet is 6-3/8 in. tall and weighs a hefty 28.6 oz (1.8 lbs) of solid lead-free premium pewter. The goblet’s stem consists two 24-karat gold-plated rivets to mimic those in the Monster's neck. The goblet is surrounded by three deeply-sculptured frieze panels depicting 1) a close portrait of the Monster (Boris Karloff); 2) the Monster's entrance/first appearance; and 3) Dr. Waldman (Edward Van Sloan)  struggling with the Monster from behind as he tries to knock him unconscious. It has been displayed on a shelf ever since we acquired it and is in very fine+ condition without any flaws.
