Vintage Bangle Bracelet Silver Tn 8 1/2" Bright Cut Design

This is a nice silver colored metal bangle with a bright cut surface design of V shaped cuts.

There are no maker's or metal marks.  I do NOT believe this bangle is sterling.

This bracelet is from the 1960s or 1970s, although it has been worn very little.

Inv #16764.

NOTE:  Any variations in color in the pictures are due to reflections.  The color in person is a beautiful even silver.

SIZE:  This bangle has an interior circumference of 8 1/2" and fits a wrist up to about 8".  It is 2 mm wide.  Measured from inside wall to inside wall from the side, the diameter is 2 13/16".  Please remember that this bangle doesn't open and the hand must fit through the opening.

PICTURES HAVE BEEN ENLARGED TO SHOW DETAIL.  PLEASE SEE SIZE SECTION ABOVE FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS AND WEIGHTS.

BACKGROUND:  I recently bought more pieces (mostly bracelets and earrings) from an incredible vintage jewelry collection amassed from the early 1950s through the 1990s.

There are very few ordinary pieces in this huge collection, as the original owner favored high quality, large scale, bold jewelry.  Even the smaller pieces are special in some way.

She shopped for jewelry literally everywhere - high end department stores and boutiques, juried arts and crafts shows, on trips, and (later in life) from the TV shopping channels.

Due to the size of this collection, many (perhaps most) of the pieces were never worn.

I'll be listing many pieces over the coming months.  Today I'm listing some of the silver and costume jewelry.
