Today for consideration is this Vintage Silver Plated Food Pick Set with Marble Base Stand. The set is in good condition, but it is a little tarnished and could use a good polishing. The white marble base has some small chips around the outer edges, and is a little dusty but is felted on the bottom, and otherwise in great condition. I am unsure of the age or origins of the set. The little picks has plastic tops that resemble apples. There are six picks with the set. The stand has pegs around the top rim that look like they were supposed to hold some other type of utensil, but only the six picks and the stand are present now. The picks are each 3.25" long, and .5" in diameter at the top, and the stand is 5" tall, and 3" in diameter. It is a nice vintage set that would be nice for hor d'oeuvres.
