1913 Dayton Ohio Flood
Remains of Fifth St. Bridge (Dead horse)

Real Photo Post Card

Original real photo post card of the Great Dayton Ohio Flood of 1913. The 1913 Dayton flood was the greatest natural disaster in Ohio history. 17 billion cubic feet of water rushed through downtown Dayton in 48 hours on March 23, just after Easter weekend. This RPPC shows a dead horse tangled up in the remains of the Fifth Street Bridge.

Divided back (these were produced from 1907 - 1915) and postally unused. Please see the other Dayton Flood post cards I have listed in my store, Maxitivity. Will combine mailing costs for multiple purchases.
