Those familiar with Phil Foglio's webcomic of "Girl Genius" will recognize the inspiration for this adorable Steampunk robot style box! Agatha Heterodyne's mini "clanks" were indeed the look I was going for when creating this decorative, yet functional trinket box.

Painted metallic silver with decoupaged prints of mechanical gears, this cute little fellow is embellished with silvertone metal filigrees, glass tubes and faux dials and buttons (non-functional....NO moving parts) as well as a curious periscopic glass photo cabochon realistic blue eye. Arms wiggle a bit and sport robot claw like hands and two stumpy little legs jut out in front in a sitting position. Antique swivel clasp in front opens the box to reveal a blue painted interior with blue felted bottom.
