• Condition: The lid has been expertly repaired on the underside, visible only by the slight discoloring. The pot and lid are free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites. There are no visible marks from use and only the slightest marks from storage. The interior is exceptionally clean with no mineral deposits or residue. There is light shelf wear on the bottom as expected.
Schleiger 261 features pink and blue cabbage roses with small white periwinkle style flowers. The pot is on blank 11, which is one of the rarest shapes for chocolate pots. The pot is marked "Haviland France" in green, mark style I which was used from 1894 to 1931 and both the lid and pot are decorator marked "Haviland & Co. Limoges" in red, mark c, used between 1889 and 1931. It's a gorgeous pattern with great detail on a hard to find shape. It will make a fantastic addition to any Haviland collection.
