Antique Real Photo Postcard, dated 1915. Identified as a grapefruit tree in the Busch Gardens in Pasadena. Divided back, AZO stampbox, unused. Condition: This is an original photo postcard, not a copy or reproduction. It has some white spots in sky region apparently occuring during the photo development process. Comments: Adolphus Busch died in 1913 but the Gardens continued operations until 1937. After their closure, Busch's widow offered the Gardens to Pasadena for use as a park on two separate occasions. The city refused and the park was sold and subdivided.
