Vintage Blenko Handcraft Lotus 8 Petal Clear Floriform Bowl 5 1/2" in Diameter 

1960's design by Wayne Husted, Blenko re-released these floriform bowls in the late 90's.  Although they are listed as clear they have an almost light blue tint in certain lights. 

Often called 8 petal Lotus bowls because of their shape.  These bowls are meant to be used, this particular bowl is a salad bowl but could be used for many other things. 

Blenko is usually considered art glass but they often manage to make art you can use daily, bringing beauty into your everyday life. 

This bowl is 5 1/2'' wide from petal to petal and the deepth varies depending on the height of the petals.  The bowl weighs 14.8 ounces. 

The wavy texture on the outside is very thick ... the inside of the bowl is smooth.   

The glass it's in great condition, no chips or cracks or visible scratches.
