Description
This is a fabulously over-the-top sexy vintage cocktail dress by Caveli Caracas.
Size not marked, but it is Extra Small, approx size 2. Shown on my size 2 dress form which measures 34 - 25 - 34.5. It fits like a glove.
Label is Caveli Caracas. I tried to research this, but could find nothing. It appears to be bespoke / custom made.
The fabric is black alencon lace, layered over dotted point d'esprit tulle.
The upper bodice is point d'esprit over solid tulle, and is illusion sheer.
Lined with nude polyester.
Round neck edged with lace.
Tulle upper bodice is two layers of tulle with lace applique.
Very fitted,.
Lined with nude polyester.
Contoured lining at bust /sweetheart neckline effect on lining.
Sheer point d'esprit back, with slit and hook and eye.
Zip closure below sheer back bodice.
Lining has princess seams to emphasize the curvy fit.
Sheer point d'esprit tulle sleeves with scalloped lace at hem. BIG BOLD 80's style shoulder pads.
Very close fitting wiggle dress shape.
Seam just below hip with lace going crosswise.
Lined from decolletage to hem with nude.
This is a very sexy look - I can see an 80s femme fatale wearing it at a casino or swanky dinner party. Chic and unique!
Excellent condition - no signs of having been worn. No damage, no odors.
Very clean and well-preserved.
