Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the popular 1940's adventure comedy, THREE GIRLS ABOUT TOWN, released in 1941 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Leigh Jason. To save the reputation of the hotel where they are employed, three sisters try to cover-up a murder.
The image depicts an interior shot of Fred Chambers (Paul Harvey) trying to eat a sandwich and enjoy a bottle of beer while being questioned by hotel cleaning women Hope Banner (Joan Blondell), Mrs. McDougall (Dorothy Vaughan), and Maggie O'Callahan (Una O'Connor) as they hold their mops and pails. It is in near-fine condition with several small creases in the top three inches of the image area; some light waviness along the sides in the image area; multiple surface scratches from handling over time; and random signs of light wear in the borders. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
