This service manual covers the GM Hydraulic Steering and the Autronic Eye.  This is the original manual that Olds dealer mechanics used when performing service on steering and Autronic eye.  Included is step by step instructions for all types of repairs from minor adjustments to complete overhaul.  Troubleshooting, diagnosis and how to overhaul the Vickers pump and reservoir assembly, control valve and drag link assembly, power cylinder assembly and steering linkage.  Includes basic construction and operation and how to perform maintenance.  Includes exploded views, diagrams, and specifications.  Have everything you need to get your hydraulic steering running smoothly.

Detailed instructions for repairing the Autronic eye and all its electrical sub-components.  This is the phototube accessory unit that automatically switches from high to low beams in response to oncoming headlights.  Learn to make adjustments to the sensitivity and aim, and troubleshoot issues.  There is a wiring diagram, and each component has all of its parts illustrated and labeled with part numbers.
