Duck Teapot Hand-painted Porcelain Blue and White 7 1/2" x 6" China Barware
I have had this item in my inventory in the years 2003 to 2005 at my antique - resell store. I sold it back in 2005 and have had it in my basement storage area ever since. I have a lot to list so keep checking back for more unique items from me.
This item is a very heavy pottery piece. The colors are bright, vibrant, not faded. You will not find any cracks, chips, grazing, flea bites, or anything on anything I offer UNLESS I post such flaws. The head on this duck is bright blue with cobalt blue color in the beak, eyes, on top of the ducks head, feathers in his wing area, tail feathers, feet, and some spots in the handle. Otherwise the body is in soft blue color. On the bottom is printed in cobalt blue Made in China. The only thing wrong with this piece it is missing the EGG that goes into the hole on the ducks back. I never had one there. I used a cork or left it open. If you want to use it as a teapot just pour hot water into the hole, let it steep, and pour the liquids out the ducks beak.
The duck measures 7 1/2 inches long x approximately 4 inches in width.
