Roman Caligae with Authentic Hobnails, Castleford/Valkenburg Type, Roman Sendel

PRODUCT DETAILS:-

The Caliga was the footwear for the marching Roman soldier. 

These shoes are very well from vegetabil-tanned leather

. The soles have 7 mm long hobnails from steel. 

 All veg-tanned leather shoes should be oiled or waxed 

before use and on occasion from outside to keep them flexible and supple.

- Material: approx. 2 mm thick veg-tanned cowhide
