Chronicle's dust jacket show light to moderate wear, with chips to corners and notable wear to spine panel and is somewhat "loose fitting"
Chronicle has a retail book sticker (Newbegin's, San Francisco) on inside of back board at rear flap
Chronicle has a very faint small stamp on bottom of rear flap (a date of April 10, 1957)
Scandal has a small light smudge/area of discoloration near bottom right corner of front panel of dust jacket
Both books have light customary uniform age toning to pages and page edges
As noted, the books are clean and odor free. Neither dust jacket has been price clipped. Both books are mark free and in very good condition.
The notable flaws are summarized above. All other flaws are minor cosmetic ones.
