This three pack of Aqualutio RF-9999 Faucet Filter Replacement Cartridges contains 3-Stage faucet filter replacements which fit all PUR faucet filter systems. The RF-9999 is the most advanced faucet water filter produced by PUR. It removes or reduces lead, up to 99% of pharmaceuticals, mercury, lindane, atrazine, asbestos, the bad taste and odor of chlorine, and numerous other impurities and contaminants (see list below). It does not remove fluoride from your water.
The RF-9999 works for up to 100 gallons - it should be replaced about every 2-3 months.
The RF-9999 faucet filter works in 3 stages. Stage 1 of the PUR RF-9999 filters sediment and dirt. Stage 2 is an activated carbon microfilter which reduces or removes a large number of impurities. Stage 3 filters the water through minerals for better tasting and more refreshing water.
