Banner Ads to Promote My Products?

Greetings!

I haven’t got enough sales in the last 2 months, and it was a very concerning situation. Many of my fellow sellers suggested me to make more people aware of my products and clothing items, and I used WhatsApp and Instagram in this regard. But, as I don’t have a huge following and contacts there, that is why it wasn’t a successful venture.

So, now, I am thinking to promote my store through banner ads with the help of advertisement programs of Google, Facebook and Instagram. I was about to use simple images, then my husband recommended adding some graphical properties or even going with animated banners because they look more appealing. After doing some online research, I found this tool https://bannerboo.com/create/animated-banners/ to create animated banners, but I am not sure should I only use original images or some edits would be Ok. Do you think I should add glitters and shadows with some free templates?

Also, it would be great if you guys suggested some more banner making tools where no signup is required, and it is more friendly for newbies.
